Community Volunteer Opportunities
Food Pantry Assistance
Help us distribute food to individuals and families in our community by volunteering at our Food Pantry. Assist with organizing food donations, packing grocery bags, and providing support to individuals accessing the pantry.perf
Clinical Support
Work alongside our healthcare teams to enhance the patient experience. Volunteers may assist with non-clinical tasks such as preparing exam rooms, restocking supplies, and escorting patients. Licensed and credentialed healthcare professionals may also volunteer to provide clinical services based on organizational needs and applicable credentialing and licensing requirements.
Administrative Support
Provide valuable assistance with administrative tasks such as answering phones, scheduling appointments, filing paperwork, and data entry. Your support helps keep our operations running smoothly and efficiently.
Outreach and Event Coordination
Support community outreach by assisting with health fairs, educational events, and wellness programs. Volunteers help connect individuals and families with valuable health resources and services.
Join Our Volunteer Ambassador Program
The Volunteer Ambassador Program empowers passionate volunteers to become leaders, advocates, and representatives of Serve the People Community Health Center. Ambassadors play a vital role in advancing our mission by educating the community about the resources and services offered by STP, promoting community engagement, supporting outreach initiatives, and fostering a welcoming, inclusive experience.
Through leadership development, service opportunities, and hands-on experience, Volunteer Ambassadors serve as the bridge between our organization and the communities we serve. They exemplify compassion, professionalism, and a commitment to health equity while inspiring others to make a meaningful impact.
Whether assisting at community events, connecting individuals with available resources, promoting volunteer opportunities, or building relationships within the community, Volunteer Ambassadors help ensure that every act of service contributes to healthier, stronger communities.
*Participants can choose to be a volunteer, ambassador, or both
• Commit to a minimum of 20 service hours completed within one month.
• Volunteer only during operating hours: Monday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m.
• Provide proof of a negative TB test completed within the past year before beginning volunteer service.
• Be at least 16 years old. Volunteers under 18 years of age must have parental permission to participate.
• Reside in Orange County
• Complete and submit the Volunteer Ambassador Application.
• Attend a mandatory volunteer onboarding information session and complete all required compliance requirements before your first volunteer shift. Volunteers under 18 must attend the onboarding session with a parent or guardian.
• Program will not sign off on court mandated community service hours
• Attend any monthly Ambassador 101 virtual meetings to learn about STP's programs, services, and community resources.
• Uphold STP mission by educating the community about the resources and services offered.
• Be a strong community representative.
