Creating Access to Legal Aid for all Community Members
Since our inception, providing free legal aid services has been a core offering at Serve the People. We understand there are many barriers to securing legal aid: cost, knowledge, or access – which is why in parternship with local attorneys, Serve the People is proud to offer free legal aid consultations on a first come, first served basis!
Newfound Access to Legal Aid from Local Attorneys
Thanks to the generous support of our volunteer attorneys, there are several areas of law our community members may receive consultation on, including: immigration, civil rights, housing, bankruptcy, labor, employment, and family.

See Them Most: Our Clinics
In order to best serve our patients, we offer legal aid onsite at our Santa Ana clinic. We believe this not only helps create a safe, familiar environment, but allows us to help remove barriers to access.

How Our Legal Aid Clinic Works
1. Weekly Opportunities for Consultations
Most Saturdays from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., attorneys will be onsite in the courtyard at our Santa Ana clinic.
Legal aid clinics are confirmed by Thursday afternoon each week. Please call (714) 352-2911 to confirm legal aid will be offered prior to your arrival. Please note: a volunteer attorney may not always available each Saturday.
2. First Come, First Served
Upon arrival, please head to our courtyard and look for a tent. From there, you will be invited to sign in and placed in a queue. The attorneys onsite will assist in the order in which you signed in.
3. Legal Advice Tailored to You
All consultations are meant to be viewed as introductory. Sessions with attorneys are short in nature and in the event further assistance is required, the attorney will refer accordingly.
